I received my PhD in Information Systems and Technology from Claremont
Graduate University in 2008, a Master of Science in Applied Computer
Science and a Master of Business Administration from Illinois State
University in 2002 and 2000. I have been working full-time as a
software engineer since 2002. I have taught classes in MIS, database,
system development, and social technologies. My research interests
focus on software and web development, including campus portal and ERP
for higher education, social networking and learning environment, knowledge
management systems, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Personal
Health Record (PHR) systems, open source software, and Internet marketing technologies. I am
interested in teaching course content related to information systems
management, computer programming, telecommunications, database
management, e-commerce, and project management.
